PerryLasers

Ordered from Bath Iron Works on 30 October 1973 as part of the FY73 program, Oliver Hazard Perry was laid down on 12 June 1975, launched on 25 September 1976, and commissioned on 17 December 1977. She was ordered as PFG-109 but was redesignated as FFG-7 in the 1975 fleet designation realignment on 1 June 1975, before she was laid down.

The 1/96 scale O.H. Perry FFG-7 kit is not a novice model. There are tweeks the might need to be made accourding to how a person would like to build the model. These are cut from Gator board, a waterproof material with foam in the middle. Included in this kit is both short and long hull for the Perry.

If you want more information on the build, please review the directions of this model. Click here (3.1mgs). Or you can watch the video of how to build the Perry Structure. You can get the Perry class hull from Scale Shipyard. All prices do not include shipping costs. If additional shipping is needed, Homeport Models will contact you.
